Ball Color in the Champions League

DBasia.news – The Champions League is changing for a better cause. This season, it involves the regulation and ball in the final round.

From the regulation, the Champions League allows the club to place the player who previously supported another club in that competition. Previously, it’s banned.

Besides that, the most trending topic of this season is the ball color. Unlike the previous edition, the ball is colored in blue.

Blue would be the base color of the Champions League. Meanwhile, the mix of white forming a star still becomes the signature style of Champions League’s ball.

However, there would be a different ball used in the Champions League. Still using the Telstar 18, there are some aesthetic changes.

If blue was previously the base color of the ball, it’s now colored in red. There are three combinations: red, yellow, and white.

Just like the usual Champions League, white forms the star. Meanwhile, the red and yellow are Spain colors.

There’s a print throughout the ball showing Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, the venue of Champions League final round. The ‘Madrid 19’ text appeared in the center.

Adidas has been the sponsor of Champions League since 1994. The collaboration with UEFA would be conducted until 2021.
