Chelsea’s Winger Has Got an Offer from Barcelona

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  After competing in the 2018 World Cup, Chelsea winger Willian admitted that he had been offered by Barcelona to enter the team. But the offer must be released because it was blocked by Chelsea.

Already in recent years news of Willian’s move to Camp Nou is sticking out. However, as expressed by Willian, Barca is only serious to bring it in the summer of 2018 after he underwent his most productive season by scoring 13 goals in all competitions.

However, Chelsea refused to release Willian and until now the 31-year-old player is still at Stamford Bridge.

“The only concrete and official offer from Barcelona came last year, after the World Cup,” Willian told DAZN.

“That’s when my family and I discussed my future, even though we all liked living in London. So, several factors kept us going.”

Currently, Willian’s cons at Chelsea will be exhausted by the end of the summer of 2020 and there are no signs the Blues will give him a new contract. That means teams like Barcelona and Juventus can negotiate with Willian starting next January.

Willian also said that returning to Brazil to strengthen Corinthians was one of his dreams. “I want to go back there. This club has its meaning for me. I was born and grew up there, my career began there,” he added.

This season, Willian has recorded 14 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, contributing three goals and two assists.
