Christian Pulisic Invites Chelsea to Focus on Finalizing the Season Well

DBasia.news – Chelsea midfielder, Christian Pulisic claims he is waiting for Timo Werner’s presence at Stamford Bridge next season. But he also invited the Blues to focus on completing the season well.

Pulisic knew well about Werner’s quality. Having been with Borussia Dortmund for four seasons, he has also seen how sharp Werner is in front of the goal, especially when defending RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

This season alone, Werner has created 32 goals in all competitions. No wonder the Blues has activated his release clause which reached 53 million Euros.

Seeing Chelsea’s internal condition at the moment, Pulisic feels his team is already strong. But Werner’s presence must clearly not be denied. He believes Werner will make Frank Lampard’s team stronger.

“We already have a strong team, which is also filled with quality players. With the entry of players like him (Werner) is clearly an extraordinary thing,” Pulisic told the official Chelsea website.

Even so, the player from the United States did not want to talk much about Werner, as this season’s English League has not been completed.

“Now we focus first on the rest of the season. But we also realize that we are also thrilled to wait for the next season (with the presence of Pulisic),” explained the 21-year old midfielder.

Currently, Chelsea are struggling to secure tickets to qualify for next season’s Champions League. They sit in fourth place in the Premier League standings with 51 points.
