Clement Lenglet: Difficult to get acquainted with the Barcelona captain
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet assesses that currently, Antoine Griezmann is still having trouble getting along with Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi. Lenglet also admitted that it was quite difficult to be able to have a close relationship with Messi.
Since joining Barcelona at the start of the season, Antoine Griezmann has been rumored to have no good relations with Lionel Messi. In fact, La Pulga is reportedly more amenable to Barcelona bringing Neymar than Griezmann.
Clement Lenglet tried to clear up the situation by expressing Lionel Messi’s attitude. According to him, it is not easy to get along well with the Argentine national team striker. However, over time, the relationship with Messi will be more fluid.
“The thing that I experienced also happened to Griezmann. Communication will appear slowly,” said Lenglet, as reported by Mirror.
“Lionel Messi has a strong core around him. He gets along well with Luis Suarez. However, he is very open to relationships that come with time,” continued Lenglet.
Lenglet rate Antoine Griezmann has not fully adapted to the Barcelona game. However, Lenglet believes Griezmann will soon be integrated into the Blaugrana scheme.
“It’s not easy to get a place in Barcelona. There are many players who have an experience like you,” said Lenglet.
“Barcelona’s playing style is different from other teams. At present, Griezmann is not familiar with it. He needs time to adapt to be able to show the best ability in the field,” he added.
Barcelona is still ranked first in LaLiga standings with 25 points. However, that number is identical to the second-placed team, Real Madrid.
