Coaching Cambodia, Keisuke Honda Won’t Promise the Victory

DBasia.news – The new coach and manager of Cambodia national team, Keisuke Honda, won’t promise the victory during the friendly match against Malaysia at National Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh, Monday (10/9). He has the plausible reason for that.
He said that after starting his duty at Cambodia national team. The former AC Milan started the training session of Kouprey Blue at National Olympic Stadium, Tuesday (4/9).
“Certainly in every match, we have to pursue the victory, but this is only the beginning. I have to dig deeper for each player.”
“We just have a few days preparing for the match against Malaysia. Every day, we will test the players. We have to improve and concentrate on this,” Keisuke Honda continued quoted by Sabay.
The former AC Milan player started to work after the official announcement by Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) as the coach and manager on August 12. He has been plotted though still listed as part of Australia Melbourne Victory’s club.
Keisuke Honda replaced the Brasilian player Leonardo Vitorino and the biggest upcoming task is the 2018 AFF Cup. Angkor Warriors are listed in the Group A with Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Laos.
Keisuke Honda signed the two-year contract. Besides, he also won’t get the salary. FFC just allocate the budget for transportation and accommodation during his duty in Cambodia national team.
