Confession, Jurgen Klopp Big Fan of Thiago Alcantara

DBasia.news – Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp, openly admitted he likes Thiago Alcantara. But he was reluctant to answer to rumors saying that his team are after the Bayern Munich player.

Speculations about the Liverpool close relation to Thiago has been blowing since the recent week. It is known that The Reds are the player’s destination when the summer transfer window officially opened.

Thiago’s own contract with Die Bavarians leaves one more year. According to some reports, the discussion between the player and the club is deadlocked.

Meaning that Bayern Munich must release the Spanish player this season. If not, they are at risk of losing the player for free when the contract is expired in June 2021.

The truth of these rumors were later questioned by the media crew after Liverpool defeated Aston Villa in the Premier League stage on Sunday (7/5/2020) yesterday. Klopp also gave the answer.

The German man admitted that he is interested in the quality that Thiago could provide. But he refused to enlarge the rumors currently raging.

“Would you be surprised if I give an answer about that? I never answered a question like this,” he said as quoted by Goal International.

“Thiago Alcantara is a very good player. Like most players out there, I like him very much. That’s all I can say,” he continued.

Munchen’s CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, admitted that he smelled signs that the player is looking for a new challenge. But he insisted that Liverpool has not made an approach.
