Conte’s Request Made Madrid Canceled to Recruit Him

DBasia.news – Real Madrid have officially appointed Santiago Solari as the permanent coach. This ends the speculation mentioning Madrid will recruit Antonio Conte.

Antonio Conte was the strongest candidate after he has no club since sacked by Chelsea last season. Moreover, there’s a rumor that Conte’s agent has conducted the negotiation.

Apparently, there are some requests that couldn’t be fulfilled by Madrid. It made the deal wasn’t as smooth as expected and eventually, Madrid appointed Solari.

Spanish media, El Pais, revealed the reason why Conte canceled to be Madrid coach.

The former Italy national team and Juventus coach asked the freedom to manage the recruit and transfer of the players, without the interruption from the management. The request was denied because Madrid President, Florentino Perez, is known often interfering Los Merengues player transfer.

Besides, Conte also wants to bring five of his coaching teams to Santiago Bernebau. Once again, Madrid denied that request because El Real think their current coaching staffs are good enough to assist Conte.

Conte’s last request is the annual salary reached 10 million euro. It was also denied. The number is almost the same as his salary when he was still the manager of Chelsea.
