Daniel Maldini’s Debut is Able to Compete with Hernandez
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Daniel Maldini, Paolo Maldini’s son, received a surprise during the match between AC Milan vs Hellas Verona, Sunday (2/2/2020). When injury time entered the 3rd minute, the third generation of the Maldini’s was played by coach, Stefano Pioli.
Although only being in the field for 3 minutes, the presence of Daniel Maldini became a milestone. He became the third generation of the Maldini Family that took part in the Serie A. Previously, Cesare and Paolo had become a legend with the Rossoneri.
The debut was very much awaited by the Italian football public. Of course, there is great hope for Daniel Maldini. He is expected to become a big player like his grandfather and father. Moreover, Stefano Pioli acknowledges his great talent.
“The boy has quality. He has talent even though of course it’s not enough. I put played him in the hopes that he could at least touch the ball on the field, “Stefano Pioli said after the match between AC Milan vs Hellas Verona as quoted by Sky Sport Italia.
Breed Hernandez at the World Cup
Daniel Maldini’s appearance also became very interesting. The reason is, it has made the Maldini family a chance to match the unique achievements Javier Hernandez’s family also known as Chicharito from Mexico. Until now, the Hernandez family are the only family that has three players from three generations in the World Cup.
The first generation of the Hernandez family at the World Cup was Tomas Baltazar. Chicharito’s grandfather on the maternal side appeared at the 1954 World Cup. In fact, he was able to make one goal. Three decades later, Javier Hernandez Sr. was called up to the Mexican national team squad at the 1986 World Cup. However, he was not trusted to appear by coach, Bora Milutinovic.
Next, Chicharito becomes the third Hernandez clan to defend Mexico in the World Cup. He began to enter the squad when called by Javier Aguirre to the 2010 World Cup. Until now, he has appeared in three editions of the World Cup with a score of four goals.
If only Daniel Maldini could head forward
to be able to be called to the Italian national team, the Hernandez family
would be equaled to the Maldini family. Previously, Cesare appeared at the 1962
World Cup, while Paolo at the 1990 to 2002 World Cup events. Will it happen in
2022? We look forward to it.
