Daniele de Rossi Turned Out Still Unable to Move On From Boca Juniors
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AS Roma legend Daniele de Rossi said that playing for Boca Juniors was one of the best experiences in his career. According to De Rossi, Argentina is a very unique place and not much different than Italy.
De Rossi played for Boca Juniors after being released by AS Roma in the summer of 2019. Together with Boca, the 36-year-old man managed to collect seven appearances before retiring in January. Together with Boca, De Rossi successfully won the Argentine League championship in 2019-20.
“Argentina is a very unique place and not much different than Italy. That’s because many Argentines have Italian descent,” Daniele de Rossi said as quoted from the Italian Football website.
“There, people always live with extraordinary passion in every aspect of life. Starting from food, music, to football,” De Rossi added.
One thing De Rossi learned while playing for Boca was, the persistence of the players in the Argentine League. According to De Rossi, there is no single player in Argentina who does not struggle 200% when playing on the field.
“In terms of tactics and quality, the Argentine League may be under European competition. But, while playing at Boca, I have never seen an Argentine league player who did not fight 200% on the field,” said De Rossi.
