Daniele De Rossi Wants to Become AS Roma Coach
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AS Roma legend, Daniele De Rossi, expressed his desire to coach his former club someday. But of course he has to go through a difficult process to become a coach.
De Rossi played in AS Roma for 20 years before moving to Boca Juniors and played there for 6 months.
“It’s rare for a player to play for 20 years in one club, so my career is not unusual. I don’t dream of doing the same thing if I become a coach, as there is no job that can last. I want to become AS Roma’s coach, but I have to go through a long process that every young coach must feel first, “said De Rossi, as quoted by Sky Sports Italia.
De Rossi also said that he wanted to learn from Pep Guardiola about coaching.
“I tried to learn from a number of different coaches when I started this career and I think Pep Guardiola would be a good place to start,” De Rossi added.
The 2006 World Cup title winner revealed the reasons why he left AS Roma and his regretts while in Rome
“It was not my choice to leave Rome, but I decided to leave football. Both of them are two decisions that I didn’t want to make. My regret is that I have never won anything important for Rome. “Some people say that I lack ambition, but nothing is more ambitious than trying to win something for a club that rarely wins titles,” De Rossi explained.
Daniele De Rossi played 616 matches with Gialorossi, but he only won two Coppa Italia and one Supercoppa Italia with the Wold Capital.
