Danish defender will soon join AC Milan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – After completing the transfer of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan is still actively moving in January to fix the strength in the back line.
At first Milan targeted Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo. But the negotiations did not find a bright spot. Milan want to borrow it with a permanent buy option, while Barcelona doesn’t mind doing so long as there is a buyback clause – something that Milan doesn’t want.
As a result, Milan shifted the target to other target. This time their movements are fairly fast and are not ‘caught by the radar’ or not discussed publicly. According to news from Football-Italy, Simon Kjaer is conducting a medical in Milan.
The 30-year-old Danish central defender has loaned by Sevilla to Atalanta this season. But, because his performance did not convince Gian Piero Gasperini, Atalanta did not mind releasing him and Sevilla lent him to Milan with a permanent option.
Simon Kjaer is an experienced defender who has worked for 13 years as a professional footballer. Packaged 97 caps and three goals with the Danish national team has strengthened Palermo, Wolfsburg, Roma, Lille, Fenerbahce, Sevilla, and Atalanta.
