Darren Bent Apologizes to James Rodriguez

By db-admin

DBasia.news – James Rodriguez performed very well at the start of his career with Everton. Praise for James also came from former football players.

James Rodriguez immediately played at Everton. His performances have been brilliant, with three goals and two assists from four matches in the Premier League so far.

This brilliant performance was the opposite of his time at Real Madrid. Coach Zinedine Zidane has not relented to give the Colombian attacking midfielder a chance.

Zidane always considered James lacking. This then frustrated James and often had to be a sweetener in Los Blancos’ reserve seat.

In difficult situations, Everton then came to bring James for free. One of the triggers for joining the 29-year-old player to Everton is Carlo Ancelotti, who has worked together at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

There were doubts regarding Everton’s decision to bring James. The criticism has since come from the former footballer, who has paid particular attention to the Premier League. One of them is the former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Darren Bent.

“What do you know? I will raise my hand here. I am one of the people who said that James had to fight very hard in the Premier League. I apologize to James Rodriguez and Everton fans,” Bent said as quoted by Marca.

Another former Tottenham player, Jermaine Jenas, was also smitten with James. He only emphasized that what James had doubted about was fitness because he rarely played.

“He has star quality. What was talked about when he arrived was whether he was fit or not, but he has the ability to see something before it happens. He’s got that class,” said Jenas.

Brazilian football legend Cafu also commented on James’ appearance with Everton. Cafu admitted that he never doubted the quality of James.

“I always thought James was fantastic. He showed it in Spain and Germany. Now he will do it in the Premier League,” Cafu confirmed.
