James Rodriguez Will Move to Atletico Madrid

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Colombian football star James Rodriguez was rumored to be staying in Madrid. However, not with Real Madrid but crossing to Atletico Madrid.

After returning from his loan spell at Bayern Munich, James still hasn’t won the trust of coach Zinedine Zidane. In this season, the 28-year-old midfielder has only played 13 times.

Madrid is believed to want to sell James to give an injection of funds to buy the players needed by Zidane. A number of clubs are interested in getting James’s services, especially in the Premier League, but the player is now close to Wanda Metrpolitano.

According to Colombian journalist Javier Hernandez Bonnet, James’s transfer talks went well. Bonnet said, James has even 80 percent become Atletico players.

“If Real Madrid wants to get some of the money, they must complete the agreement. If they don’t do it between now and December, James will become a free agent,” Bonnet told Radio Blu, which the US reported.

“The same source told us when he moved to Bayern Munich that 80% of operations were complete.”

It was also mentioned, James liked his transfer to Atletico both in terms of football and personal point of view. Even so, James has just joined training with the Madrid squad ahead of the potential return of LaLiga amid a corona virus pandemic.
