DBasia.news – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s manager paid attention to the loan goalkeeper’s performance, judging he could be No.1 in the England national team and United.

Dean Henderson’s slick performance during his loan contract at Sheffield United stole the attention of his home club manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Henderson was loaned from The Red Devils to Sheffield since the 2018/19 season, with him successfully took The Blades promoting to the English Premier League.

In the top caste competition this season, Henderson’s performance was as impressive as he successfully packed ten clean sheets and 70 saves from 27 appearances for Sheffield.

The loan contract for the young English goalkeeper will expire this summer and he is scheduled to return to Old Trafford. Ole also assessed the player has the potential to overtake the mainstay goalkeeper David de Gea and even become the main choice for the Three Lions.

“Dean has made extraordinary choices over the last few years and has grown fantastically,” Ole said as quoted by The Sar.

“We are watching about the connection where he will play next season, but until now nothing has been decided.”

“This season has given him an extraordinary experience, he has put himself in the spotlight through his performances and proves that he will become No.1 of England and No.1 of Man United at some point.”

Henderson, 23, is a product of The Red Devils academy and is under contract with the club until June 2022.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will return to action after a break due to the corona virus pandemic on Saturday (6/20), with them having to travel to the headquarters of Tottenham Hotspur who are now trained by former club manager Jose Mourinho.

The match will be their first match after three months of pandemic break, with Ole’s squad currently pursuing fourth place which will lead them to next season’s Champions League qualification.

Even so, finishing in fifth position could have led them to European elite competition, but that would only happen if Manchester City failed in their appeal in the Arbitration Court for Sport (CAS) over the alleged violations of Financial Fair Play (FFP).
