DBasia.news – Inter Milan will face Sevilla in the 2019-20 Europa League final which will be held at the RheinEnergieStadion, Saturday (22/08). Inter managed to defeat Shakhtar Donetsk in the semifinal with a score of 5-0 and Romelu Lukaku scored two goals.

Lukaku scored goals in minute 78 and 83 after Lautaro Martinez scored two goals (19′, 74′) and a goal from Danilo D’Ambrosio (64′) at Esprit Arena, Tuesday (18/08).

The two goals took the Belgian forward’s tally to 33 in all competitions in his debut season for Antonio Conte’s Inter. Lukaku is also the first player in history to score in 10 consecutive Europa League matches.

“I thought everything was going well from the start of the match, good records were broken, but in the end we are here to win and the team we are against is also the favorite team to win,” Lukaku told BT Sport.

The physical strength of Inter which Conte’s coaching staff also believes is the key to his team’s fitness against Shakhtar.

“The team is working well. Everyone is trying to do their best, we are working very hard at our lightning training camp,” added Lukaku.

“It was difficult, but I think now we are seeing the results of hard work. Physically and tactically, everyone is at 100 per cent and we can keep going, so that’s a good thing.”

“I think we know their combination is very good, so as long as we keep the center of defense close we will not have any problems, because our physique is too strong for them to face. In the second half, we showed our strength and our pattern of play really bothered them.” Lukaku explained.
