Denmark National Team Captain Agent Admits the Offer from Milan

By news-admin

DBasia.news – Anything could happen within the time left in this summer transfer market. One of the things avoided by the club is the left of their great player and couldn’t find the successor.

That’s what AC Milan avoid. Currently, they are threatened to lose the captain and great defender, Leonardo Bonucci. Seems like Bonucci wants to leave and joins Juventus.

However, most of the Bianconeri supporters rejected his coming back to Turin, so he is rumored with the other teams like Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Moreover, his coach in Milan, Gennaro Gattuso, couldn’t do anything with his future in the club. Milan won’t just stay still in the middle of this condition. They will prepare the backup plan to replace Bonucci.

One name under the target as Bonucci’s successor is the Denmark national team captain, Simon Kjaer. Kjaer’s agent, Mikkel Beck, confirmed the interest to his client. But, Milan’s interest was coming last season, not this season.

“I have seen the rumors, but I have not spoken directly with AC Milan in the last few days. What I can say is that AC Milan were showing interest in Simon last summer at one point, but in the end, he chose to go to Sevilla,” Beck told Goal.

“I am not surprised by the rumors. When a player performs on such a high level at a World Cup, as Simon did as Denmark captain, then obviously there will be media speculation – and other big clubs will probably focus on him as well,” he continued.

Kjaer’s performance was good enough during the 2018 World Cup. He led Denmark to the 16-groups qualification before defeated in a penalty shootout against Croatia. So far, Beck revealed that he enjoys playing for Sevilla.

“Simon is happy to play for Sevilla in a great league like La Liga, and the club have big ambitions. Simon likes that, and he has just returned after the World Cup and started his pre-season, preparing to be ready to go all in to make it a great season,” Beck added.

Analyzing the outline, Kjaer is ideal to replace Bonucci. They have the same experience and quality. However, Bonucci has the superiority in terms of the success story with Juventus.
