Dorrmund Sports Directur Warded the Issue of Jadon Sancho’s Leave

DBasia.news –  Borussia Dortmund Sports Director ,Michael Zorc, dismissed the issue of Jadon Sancho’s leave from Dortmund. According to him, the 18-year-old English player will not leave next summer.

The player born in Camberwell, England, March 25, 2000 has changed dramatically from a football player worth eight million pounds – when bought from Manchester City in 2017, to becoming a player with a tag of 100 million pounds.

European club talent scouts continue to observe the development of Sancho in Dortmund. Likewise when he strengthens the England national team (Sancho has three caps). One of the clubs he is recently linked to is Manchester United.

The Red Devils reportedly does not mind giving more than £ 100 million to recruit Sancho. He could be a long-term investment to fill United’s wing forward post with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

But according to Zorc, it is still too fast for Sancho to move from Dortmund. Sancho only played for two years at Die Borussen. So, it’s less likely for him to go follow his teammate, Christian Pulisic, who will go to Chelsea next summer.

“I would not say that we have set a price for Jadon Sancho, but I can assert that now it will be very difficult even for the biggest club in the world to recruit him,” Zorc said, as quoted from the US.

“Jadon will appear with Borussia Dortmund next season. We will clearly set a plan for next season with him,” he continued.

Dortmund certainly do not want to lose the young star after selling Pulisic for 64 million euros to Chelsea. Especially now, Lucien Favre’s Dortmund players are being highlighted because of their great performance in the Bundesliga.

Sancho is a versatile player who can play as an attacking midfielder and left-right attacker. This season, Sancho has scored nine goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions.

Judging from the statistics from Whoscored, Sancho has the characteristic of playing that tends to pass short balls and dribble the ball past the opponent. The advantages are the ability to pass, dribble the ball, and give key passes.
