Dortmund Star Wants to Be Like Mbappe

Pulisic failed to bring the US to qualify the 2018 World Cup. On the other hand, Mbappe who is still 19 like him can bring the France national team to win the World Cup.

Pulisic considers Mbappe as the example of the young player’s probability to perform in the highest international level competition. Pulisic wants to repeat Mbappe’s achievement with the US.

“Seeing what a good tournament he had, it’s definitely inspiring. Obviously, I’d love to have been a part of it all myself, but it’s cool to see young guys like him doing well on a stage like the World Cup. He was so good,” said Pulisic to Goal.com.

In total, Mbappe scored four goals during the 2018 World Cup. The impressive record delivered him as the young best player in the every-four-year event.

“It was a great tournament. I couldn’t miss watching something like that!” the player continued.

Meanwhile, the future of Christian Pulisic in Borussia Dortmund is questionable after his former manager, Jurgen Klopp, admitted the interest to bring him to Liverpool. But as for now, there is no negotiation between the two clubs yet.
