Mbappe, Ronaldo and Icardi Transfer Domino Effects Can Change Clubs

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Reports in Italy say that if Kylian Mbappe joins Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo will join PSG while Mauro Icardi will move to Juventus.

It all started with the issue of Mbappe leaving PSG (Paris Saint-Germain). The 22-year-old striker has returned to training with PSG after his post-European 2020 holiday and his contract runs until 2022.

Mbappe allegedly did not want to extend it along with interest from Real Madrid. El Real can ‘play psychologically’ with PSG and try to sign him for free next year, while PSG in that situation can only sell him this summer or in the winter transfer market.

PSG did not let him go for less than 160 million euros, a relatively high price in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. But Madrid, who have wanted Mbappe for a long time, can wait patiently for him.

Whether or not Mbappe leaves Paris could affect other transfers. If Mbappe leaves PSG, it is believed that Il Corriere dello Sport will make Cristiano Ronaldo, the Juventus superstar, as his successor.

In the transfer there will also be a player barter involving Mauro Icardi who is interested in Juventus, because Juventus need a new striker and Icardi – along with Gabriel Jesus – is Il Bianconeri’s target.

Ronaldo’s contract also expires in 2022 with Juventus and his agent, Jorge Mendes, has found it difficult to sell Ronaldo due to his salary of 31 million euros per year. Practically only PSG or Manchester City can pay for it.

Ronaldo’s potential to join PSG can happen because there is his former Real Madrid teammate, Sergio Ramos. Moreover, PSG’s ambition is also the same as Juventus, namely winning the Champions League.
