DBasia.news – Barcelona defender Gerard Pique must pay 48,000 euros or Rp787 million after driving without legal points.
The former Manchester United player did that on August 31st. At that time, the police stopped his Audi in a famous shopping center in Barcelona, Paseo da Gracia.
After the checking, it was revealed that Pique drove with no points. It could be classified as a crime with imprisonment up to six months.
Pique should have renewed his points on June 2018 but he didn’t attend the course hence the delayed permit.
On October 2014, Pique was also handed a 10,500 euro fine after reprimanding two police officers who had fined him for parking in a forbidden zone. Previously, he also did the similar violation in 2011 when he carried his son while driving. He should have put him on a car seat.
