Edinson Cavani’s message to Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Edinson Cavani has now officially become part of the Manchester United squad. Many people hope that Cavani’s arrival can help Man United’s young attackers, such as Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood to develop.
Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial are United’s three young trident front lines. Cavani (33 years old) has full of experience playing in Europe with Napoli and also PSG (Paris Saint-Germain).
The striker from Uruguay has successfully won a trophy with PSG with six Ligue 1 titles, four French Cups and five French League Cups. Cavani tried to share his experiences and suggestions for United’s young attackers.
“Look, in my opinion there is no better advice than just working hard on the football field or in training sessions,” Cavani was said as quoted on the official Manchester United website.
“Because you don’t win any game by just showing up and walking on the pitch. You start winning games during training sessions, you start winning games the way you prepare for them. For that you need to start working before the game in the days leading up to that.”
“I think you can sometimes, through your abilities, demonstrate certain things by example, without even needing to speak. But I think it can depend on each individual and the desire that they have to grow and develop as players and how much they really want to win and compete. “
“I came here to do my best, as I said, and I am here to offer a little of my experience to the squad, to the manager, and I am ready and willing to do my best. I’m able to give the best that I can offer, “said Cavani.
“So that was my goal when I got here, eager to make myself available to my team-mates. After that it’s up to each individual, what they want to take and what they want to leave. That’s how I look at football. . “
Many are skeptical about Cavani’s arrival, who has been injuried last season and is already in his thirties. Even so, Cavani remains optimistic about the new season and adventure with United.
“I hope I can score a lot of goals, and I will work hard to do so,” hopes Cavani.
“As I said before, I came here with a real desire to work hard and to prepare myself, and to be available to my team-mates and managers for selection.”
“I want to be able to put all that effort and hard work onto the pitch, and together be able to achieve great things with Manchester United.”
“I’m really excited to play and compete again, and with God’s will, I can score goals, which are very important for everyone and also for me, as a striker. For the fans, for everyone.”
“So, as I said, I really want to start training so that I am ready to score goals, so we can all enjoy it and have fun together,” concluded Cavani.
