Man United defeated by Liverpool, Marcus Rashford: I’m ashamed!

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United player, Marcus Rashford, seemed like he hasn’t moved on from his club’s defeat to Liverpool last week. Most recently, he admitted to being ashamed of the embarrassing moment.

Manchester United stood still in front of their own supporters. Mohamed Salah and his team mates scored five goals, without receiving a single reply. It was Man United’s biggest loss to Liverpool at home.

Unfortunately, during the game, a number of Manchester United supporters began to leave Old Trafford. They chose to go rather than see Cristiano Ronaldo and his team mates struggle.

Marcus Rashford did not deny that the Manchester United players made supporters disappointed. He was ashamed of what had happened.

“I can’t lie, you haven’t heard from me here because as a Manchester United fan I don’t know what to say after Sunday. I’m embarrassed,” Rashford wrote on Twitter.

“I’m ashamed. Our fans are everything and they don’t deserve it. We will work hard to try and fix it. We have to redeem ourselves.”

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand said the same thing. According to him, the crushing defeat was shameful.

“It’s a shame. I’ve been in a situation like that. We were beaten 6-1 at home by Manchester City. However, we showed our identity again in a few weeks,” said Ferdinand on his Youtube account.

“This is a problem for the team. They are struggling to find their identity and who they are. That is a question.”
