DBasia.news – Egy Maulana Vikri admits that his sleeping pattern hasn’t back to normal prior returning to Indonesia. The Lechia Gdansk midfielder admits that he couldn’t sleep well at night.
U19 Indonesia national team coach Indra Sjafri admits that.
Egy is the only player who came late in the U19 Indonesia national team training center for 2018 U19 Asian Cup from October 19 until November 4, 2018. The player who was born in Medan, North Sumatera, just arrived a few days ago after 22-hour-flight from Poland to Indonesia.
The five-hours difference between Poland and Indonesia also triggers the jetlag. Egy admitted that he felt the difficulty in adapting to this change.
“Yes, I’m having jetlag for a few days. But it’s okay now,” Egy said.
In the two friendly matches of U19 Indonesia national team ahead of the U19 Asian Cup, Egy just played once for 58 minutes. In the match against U19 Saudi Arabia on October 10, Egy didn’t play. Meanwhile, in the match against U19 Jordan on Saturday (13/10), Egy was benched.
In the recent match, Egy was also substituted in the injury team due to the clash with the opponent.
