El Clasico Match Postponed, LaLiga Plans to Take Legal Actions

DBasia.news – The Spanish Football Federation REFF decided to postpone the El Clasico Barcelona vs Real Madrid match on December18, 2019. This decision has made LaLiga authorities plan to take legal action.
“LaLiga does not agree with the decision of the competition committee to set December 18 as the date for the El Clasico match,” wrote the official LaLiga statement was quoted by the BBC, Thursday (10/24/2019).
“We are currently studying the documentation to take further decisions. Later we will evaluate the legal actions that can be taken. “
The El Clasico date, which was originally set for October 26 to December 18, is inseparable from the political turmoil in the Catalan region in recent days.
The Spanish court has made the decision to imprison nine Catalan pro-independence figures who had become political prisoners. They received sentences ranging from nine to 13 years in prison.
“The Competition Committee and the Football Federation of the Kingdom of Spain have agreed to set December 18 as the classic match of FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid,” the official RFEF statement said.
