Emery Admits Arsenal Are Inferior from Chelsea

Basia.news –  Unai Emery called Arsenal appeared inferior against Chelsea in the Europa League final in Baku. In the match, the Gunners were slaughtered 4-1 by the Blues.

After the match, Emery congratulated Chelsea. He realized, the London Blue club performed better than his team.

“We are trying, we are fighting, we are facing a team like Chelsea in the final. Today, we congratulate them. They play better than us,” Emery said.

“In the first half, we played this game with a lot of possibilities. We didn’t have many of them making opportunities in our area, including one brilliant save from Petr Cech. We want to continue to play our ideas in this fight and maximize opportunities when they come,” he continued.

“However, they scored the first goal. The first goal was really important in this match because afterward, we needed to play more calmly. But we made several mistakes,” explained Emery.

Emery assessed, the Chelsea players were clever in utilizing every mistake made by Arsenal’s troops and this had to be paid costly by the London Cannon.
