Emery Reveals the Reason for Not Bringing Ozil to Frankfurt

Emery thinks, he needs rotation to face the hectic schedule that plagued Arsenal at the beginning of the competition. According to him, reserving Ozil is one of the means to maintain the endurance of the players throughout the competition.

“We play a lot of matches and I want to use different players. Besides, I want to rotate 11 players for later, and 19 other players for tomorrow’s match. So, Mesut and Sokratis must be rested,” he said.
