DBasia.news –  The first leg of the Europa League last 16 took place on Friday (3/8) WIB. Among the competing teams, three big clubs, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Sevilla, failed to win the match.

Inter Milan, who visited Frankfurt headquarters, had to settle with one point. La Beneamata played 0-0 in the match.

Still without Mauro Icardi, Inter Milan could have actually won. Unfortunately, Marcelo Brozovic’s penalty in the 22nd minute failed to meet the target.

Meanwhile, Sevilla were held 2-2 by Slavia Prague. In fact, Simon Kjaer and his mates played at their own headquarters, the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

In another match, Arsenal beat 1-3 when they travel to Rennes headquarters. In fact, on paper the Gunners have better player material.

Indeed, Arsenal exceled quickly in the match. Alex Iwobi has led the Gunners to lead since the match has only been running for four minutes.

Unfortunately Sokratis Papasthopoulos’s red card changed the course of the match. Rennes equalized the position through Benjamin Bourigeaud’s goal before the break.

The direction of the match turned back to Rennes in the second round. Nacho Monreal’s own goal plus Ismaila Sarr’s goal left Arsenal empty-handed.
