By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player, Napoli and Argentine national team Ezequiel Lavezzi have announced hanging shoes from football at the age of 34.

Lavezzi spent the last four seasons of his career with Hebei China Fortune in the Chinese Super League since joining in 2016 from PSG.

“The extraordinary years of this trip. Years were marked by learning, unique moments and many memories that will be stored in my heart forever,” he said.

“I am forever grateful for those who were with me throughout this journey. With much excitement, I say goodbye to the amazing phase that I have experienced. I am very happy.”

Lavezzi began his professional career with San Lorenzo in his native Argentina, where he helped his team win Clausura in 2007.

Together with PSG, Lavezzi won more trophies than in previous clubs. The winger helped the Paris club win four consecutive Ligue 1 titles between 2012 and 2016 as well as two Coupes de la Ligue and one Coupe de France.

In 2016, Lavezzi became one of the first famous players to move to the Chinese Super League when he joined Hebei China Fortune.
