DBasia.news – AC Milan defender, Mateo Musacchio got an injury after bumping to Real Betis player. Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso hopes his squad can play this weekend against Juventus.
The defender had a bump with his teammate, Franck Kessie, 8 minutes before the match ended. Musacchio fainted, but the news said he could walk after the medical treatment.
It made Gattuso worried. The 28-year-old player’s role is really essential for Il Diavolo Rosso in the match against Juventus.
“Musacchio’s injury was a collision, but knowing his temperament, he’ll do everything he can to recover and play this weekend,” Gattuso said reported by Sky Sport.
Gattuso’s strong expectation hoping Musacchio can play against Juventus is reasonable. Some Rossoneri players like Hakan Calhanoglu, Gonzalo Higuain, Davide Calabria, Lucas Biglia, and Mattia Caldara are rumored to absent.
“Calhanoglu had the usual knock to the top of the foot. We’ll see. I have to wait for what the doctor says,” Gattuso said.
“There’s no point thinking about it, we’ll play who we’ve got and will wage battle, as looking for alibis will get us nowhere.”
“Now we’ve got two and a half hours to fly back and do some work on the plane. Juventus are one of the best sides in Europe, let alone Italy, but we won’t sit here crying into our hankies. We’ll face them and play our football,” Gattuso continued.
