Fans Mocked AS Roma for the New Goal Keeper Recruitment
By news-admin
DBasia.news – AS Roma were officially announcing Robin Olsen to the public, Tuesday (24/7). However, the supporters thought Olsen isn’t the equal goalkeeper compared to Alisson.
AS Roma spent 12 million euro to get the Sweden national team goalkeeper from Kopenhagen. Il Lupi paid 8,5 million euro, while the other 3,5 million euro will be added along with some requirements.
AS Roma hope Olsen can be the successor of Alisson who went to Liverpool with 75 million euro. Moreover, the 28-year-old has experience in the club or international level.
However, the Italian singer and also AS Roma supporter, Cesar Cremonini, is doubting Olsen will perform as good as Alisson. Cremonini assumed, there are many supporters don’t favor the club’s decision to sell Alisson.
“He is a giant but Alisson was a star. Olsen doesn’t come from a big club but even so, he has done well with the Swedish national team,” Cremonini explained.
“He seems to be pretty consistent but let’s see how this transfer goes. It will be difficult to replace Alisson as many Roma fans aren’t too happy,” he continued.
Robin Olsen will fly to the US joining the squad.
