FC Barcelona Officially Recruit Antoine Griezmann

DBasia.news –  FC Barcelona have managed to recruit Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid. The 28-year-old bomber was recruited by redeeming a purchase clause at Atletico for 120 million euros.

Through their official website, Barcelona announced they had completed negotiations and the French star was immediately tied up with a contract for the next five years until 2024.

Previously, the Griezmann transfer to Barcelona had been hot since last year, even since it was rumored since 2017 until finally completed today. Griezmann became Barcelona’s fourth recruit after Frenkie de Jong, Neto, and Emerson.

There has been no detailed salary posted by Barcelona to Griezmann. To be sure, Barcelona announced in the contract included a release clause with fantastic value, 800 million euros or around Rp. 12.6 trillion. This value is higher than the release clause in Lionel Messi’s contract worth 700 million euros.

In the club’s official statement, the Blaugrana said they would soon introduce the 28-year-old striker.
