FFP’s Domino Effect to Mbappe Transfer in Madrid-PSG

By news-admin

DBasia.news – There might be a big drama ahead of the end of the summer transfer market in Europe. The hot issue happened in the Blue Continent involving the French rich club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) who potentially punished by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) for Financial Fair Play violation.

Last season, PSG signed Neymar from Barcelona worth 222 million euro. Now, as the loaning contract with AS Monaco ends, PSG have two options: activate his release clause worth 180 million euro or return him to Monaco.

If they purchase Mbappe, PSG violate two FFP’s regulations for staff salary limitation and the club’s financial balance. PSG recruited the two players but not balancing it with the transfer. They just sold Lucas Moura to Tottenham Hotspur and Javier Pastore to AS Roma.

While the players like Angel Di Maria, Marco Verratti, Adrien Rabiot are still preserved by PSG who don’t want to lose the key players, with UEFA’s punishment potency. No wonder, if PSG decide to release Mbappe, it would be only Real Madrid who can purchase him, considering the transfer market is over in English and Italy.

Mbappe, Madrid’s Main Target

AS reported (25/8) Madrid are waiting for UEFA’s decision to PSG. If proved violating FFP, Thomas Thucel team must sell one of their star players to balance the financial condition, one of them is Mbappe. Madrid are waiting for that moment.

“In light of the recent decision of the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) Chief Investigator to close the investigation into Paris Saint-Germain – which commenced on 1 September 2017 – the Chairman of the CFCB has decided to send this decision for review by the Adjudicatory Chamber,” UEFA statement said.

Madrid won’t miss the chance to get the 2018 World Cup winner with France national team and also the best young player. Madrid have been waiting for this opportunity.

El Real still have at least 100 million euro from selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. Mbappe is ideal to replace Ronaldo: young and qualified. It’s all in UEFA’s call.
