Fired, Gattuso Failed to Get Ribery to Milan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Interesting facts come from AC Milan. Rossoneri is reportedly close to getting Franck Ribery last season, but the wishes of the former coach, Gennaro Gattuso, were rejected outright by management.
This new fact was revealed by former AC Milan player, Massimo Brambati. He said that Gattuso had asked management to bring Ribery from Bayern Munich.
However, the request was rejected outright by the top brass in the club. In fact, not long ago they fired the coach who is also the Rossoneri legend.
“Gattuso has asked Ribery as one of the players he wants to bring. But the proposal he submitted was rejected outright by management, “Brambati said as quoted by Football Italia, Thursday (10/17/2019).
“What followed was that he went to Fiorentina because of Luca Toni’s invitation and he managed to carry out his duties well here,” he added.
I Rossoneri’s rejection of the French player proved wrong. He now looks amazing with Fiorentina by scoring two goals and one assist from seven matches.
The former Bayern Munich player was also chosen as the club’s best player last September. While Milan stumbled in Serie A. They even just changed the coach from Marco Giampaolo to Stefano Pioli.
