For Klopp Liverpool’s 13 points advantage has no effect

DBasia.news –  Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp insists that the 13th advantage at the top of the English League table currently owned by his team is not relevant.

The advantage was achieved after Liverpool smothered second-ranked team Leicester City with a score of 4-0 in the English League Boxing Day match at the King Power Stadium.

“What you changed from that question was only the numbers, before 10, then 11 and now 13,” Klopp said.

“To be honest we don’t feel anything, don’t think about it, not even one bit,” he added.

Klopp claimed never to embed the numbers in the pre-match team discussion because he thought it was not interesting.

“I can write the narration myself, a story that has never happened, at least in English football, a big superior team then loses that advantage,” he said.

“That sounds negative to my ears, so why should I think of such a thing,” Klopp said completing.

Klopp insisted he and his team only wanted to concentrate on the next matches to be played, something the results were not yet clear.
