For Klopp, Wherever Liverpool be Champion Is Not a Problem

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Liverpool could fail to celebrate the English Premier League celebrations at Anfield. Nevertheless, it was not a problem for Juergen Klopp.

As reported previously, the police suggested five Premier League matches take place in neutral places. Three of those lists involve Liverpool.

The same thing was asked by the mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson. He worried that supporters would still come to Anfield to celebrate the title of their idol team despite the match being held without spectators.

“Wherever the place is, I don’t know. We hope it can be done at Anfield, but we don’t know for sure and that is not very important either,” Klopp said.

Liverpool only need two more wins to secure the title. The Reds are now 25 points ahead of Manchester City.

With the remaining nine matches, Liverpool could even be sure to win the title without competing if Manchester City fails to conquer Arsenal in the Premier League comeback match, June 17th. With such situation, the Derby Merseyside against Everton few days later only became a mere formality.

Klopp himself was reluctant to suppose when Liverpool could lock the title. The 52-year-old manager only promised the maximum performance of his team in every match.

“Whenever you want, in an empty stadium or whatever it will be an extraordinary day for me, especially thanks to the support and prayers and love from people around the world,” he concluded.
