For Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan is his home

DBasia.news – Zlatan Ibrahimovic has landed at Linate airport, Milan. The 38-year-old Swedish striker came to sign a new contract with AC Milan.
Ibrahimovic has reportedly agreed to a new one-year contract worth 7 million euros with Milan. This isn’t too surprising. The reason is, for him, Milan is his home.
“I want to go back home,” said Ibrahimovic on Milan’s official Facebook page, as quoted by the Italian Football. “Now, we can start working again to achieve better results.”
“As I always say, I’m not here to be a mascot, but to produce results, to bring Milan back to where they belong,” continued Ibrahimovic.
“We’ve had six great months, but haven’t won anything yet.”
“We now have the opportunity to work from the start and make sacrifices to achieve our targets. I am in good form. I hope to be back to see the fans at the stadium soon, because the team needs them, and we want to make them happy.”
“Forza Milan,” he concluded.
Ibrahimovic rejoined Milan as a free agent from LA Galaxy in January. He scored 10 goals in 18 appearances for Milan in Serie A last season.
This is his second period to strengthen Milan, after 2010-2012. So far, he has scored a total of 67 goals and 29 assists in 105 appearances in all competitions for Milan.
Now, Ibrahimovic and his colleagues are facing into the new season, also with renewed vigor.
