Nunez died in 87.
Nunez led the club from 1978 until 2000. It’s been 22 years he dedicated his time for the beloved club and presented trophies and historical legacy for El Barca.
He presented 176 trophies for El Barca from 4 sports, football, basketball, hockey, and handball. Obviously, this is a great achievement of the club history and one of the best eras of The Dream Team under Johan Cruyff and winning the Champions Cup for the first time in the 90s.
Besides that, Nunez was also significantly contributed to club modernization like Miniestadi development in 1982 and Barca Museum in 1984. Moreover, in 1979, the best football academy, La Masia, also established by the suggestion from Cruyff at that time.
