Former Man United Player Believes Emery Will be Successful in Arsenal

DBasia.news – Chelsea and Arsenal’s performance are awaited in the 2018/2019 season due to the managerial change. Chelsea are no longer under Antonio Conte who replaced by Maurizio Sarri. While Arsenal will start a new era after Arsene Wenger 22 years leadership, under the Spanish manager, Unai Emery.

In the beginning, many underestimated Emery capacity to lead The Gunners because he wasn’t predicted to replace Wenger. Patrick Viera, Luis Enrique, Carlo Ancelotti were rumored to replace Wenger. But the high-officials of the club chose Emery who ended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Emery, 46, is asked to bring back Arsenal to its glory, after failing in the Champions League qualification within two past years. He has the experience of winning the trophy while leading Sevilla and PSG. Emery is also a modern coach known for his video record method to analyze the match, the strength, and weakness of the players.

The playing philosophy from the coach born in Hondarribia, November 3, 1971, is also suitable with Arsenal who often play offensive and entertaining football under Wenger. Emery’s arrival could improvise Arsenal’s existing style.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United player, Dimitar Berbatov, also confirmed a big faith of Emery’s success potency.

“He’s the right man for Arsenal to bring them to more success. They always controlled the game and the ball was moving on the pitch, not in the air and I think what he’s going to do with Arsenal,” Berbatov told Standard Sport.

“He will be even better at Arsenal because Arsenal are always trying to control the game with short passes and moving together up the pitch.”

“So it’s a perfect place for him to develop his vision of the game and I think he’s going to have success there,” Berbatov explained.
