Franck Kessie Discusses Krzysztof Piatek’s Declining Performance
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AC Milan midfielder, Franck Kessie, is not at all worried about the decline in the performance of his teammate, Krzysztof Piatek. Kessie was sure that Piatek would soon find his sharpness again.
Krzysztof Piatek was one of the sharpest strikers in Italy last season. The striker scored 22 goals in Serie A. He created the number in two clubs namely Genoa and AC Milan.
However, the appearance of Piatek far decreased this season. Shown in seven Serie A matches, the bomber has just scored two goals.
In addition to a minimal amount, these goals are created from the white dot. This is a sign Piatek has not been able to take advantage of opportunities from open play.
Nevertheless, Franck Kessie did not want to make Piatek a scapegoat. Kessie rate, Piatek will continue to try to smooth the flow of goals.
“He needs to score goals because an attacker needs to gain goals to get better. When the attacker does not score, they will not be happy,” explained Kessie as reported by Sport Mediaset.
“However, with his national team, I know he will perform better and I see him with enthusiasm. We only need to do what has been done so far namely working professionally,” said Kessie.
Krzysztof Piatek has the chance to get out of goal drought when AC Milan spoiled Lecce in the eighth week of Serie A 2019-2020, at the San Siro Stadium on Monday (10/21). The Rossoneri need three points to move from 13th place to the standings.
