Frank Lampard Admits to Miss Christian Pulisic
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Frank Lampard admitted Chelsea had missed Christian Pulisic’s presence after the United States striker pulled over for several weeks due to injury.
Pulisic developed into a key player of the Blues after briefly starting the season from the bench. Unfortunately, he suffered a thigh injury against Brighton in early January and made him absent.
Lampard is not sure when Pulisic will return, but he believes the winter break until mid-February will give him enough time to recover and rejoin the Chelsea squad.
“It’s hard to answer [when Pulisic will return to play],” Lampard said after a 2-2 draw against Leicester City on Saturday (1/2) yesterday.
“We actually scheduled him to recover this week, but apparently it had to be postponed. So, this gap period could provide additional time. I don’t have an answer [for recovery time].”
“Yes, we miss him, because he is a quality player and has a good period before Christmas. However, other players must also be like that. Of course, we will be very happy if he returns.”
