Furio Valcareggi Said Balotelli Better Retire

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Mario Balotelli’s poor performance in Brescia drew attention. A former player who has turned to be an agent, Furio Valcareggi, advised him to retire.

Balotelli was reportedly often absent from virtual training during the lockdown period. This made Brescia seem to be losing patience with Super Mario.

The Lombardy based club were reportedly not allowing Balotelli to train with his team-mates. Balotelli’s career in Brescia was even said to be over with a letter of dismissal.

Valcareggi thought that Balotelli should be dismissed by Brescia. He even suggested that the former Inter Milan striker should retire from football.

“I would sign Balotelli last season. However, at this point, it is clear that he should stop playing football,” Valcareggi said as quoted by Football Italia.

Valcareggi blamed Mino Raiola as a Balotelli agent who was unable to maintain the attitude of his client. According to him, Raiola should be able to make Balotelli focus on his career.

“I think Raiola is partly responsible for this. He should help Balotelli to continue to develop. Balotelli should be able to show that he is a champion, but what happened is actually an embarrassing thing,” he explained.
