Mario Balotelli unable to join the Italian National Team

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Italian national team manager, Roberto Mancini, thinks Brescia striker, Mario Balotelli, is one of the best strikers he has ever trained. But for the 55-year-old manager considers the performance of Balotelli has not been able to make him join the Italian national team. Roberto Mancini trained Balotelli at Inter and in Manchester City.

“For the qualities he has had then and now, Mario is one of the best center strikers, but that is not enough. He hasn’t shown anything in Brescia this season and he knows that. His hope is to bring Mario who used to be at Manchester City or at Euro 2012. But the door is still open to all, “Mancini stated.

Roberto Mancini also revealed his ambition to win the Nations League and Euro which has been postponed to next year.

“I am very happy with the national team, although we have not met much of each other. We will try to play well and win the Nations League and the Euro, “

Mancini was also asked about his chance to coach Italy at the 2022 World Cup which incidentally was only one year after the Euro.

“I don’t know yet, we’ll see soon. I hope I return to coach Italy after winning the Euro, “concluded the former Inter Milan coach.

Currently Mario Balotelli has scored five goals in 19 Serie A matches he has played.
