DBasia.news – Despite his return to Santos, Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa still loves FC Internazionale. His grounded moment was hard to return to Appiano Gentile.
Hence the 22-year-old striker wants to taste the champion crown with I Nerazzurri. “I’m young and still have lots of objectives and one of these is to win with Inter Milan,” said the player who is in contract until June 30, 2021.
Gabigol admitted the huge expectation from the public made him nervous and difficult to score the goal. “After the Olympics, there was a lot of pressure on me with fans and media expecting a lot. I did the best I could to adapt to Italy, but things didn’t go well.”
“Having said this, I’m not going to give up a centimeter and I’m thinking of the future. My disappointing year in Milan will help me grow,” said the player who scored 21 goals in his second period with Santos.
His loyalty to Inter can be seen by how he refused the offer from other Serie A teams. “I never had any doubts about accepting their offer, despite having some other, equally big ones. I’ve got a contract to 2021 and I’m relaxed now I’m just thinking of giving my best for Santos,” Gabigol explained.
