Gambling Success Jurgen Klopp on the Merseyside Derby

Nevertheless, the young Liverpool troops were able to conquer Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton who fielded his best team. Naturally, if Jurgen Klopp was happy that his gambling would result in success at Anfield.

“They play football with courage. It is extraordinary from individual players from children as well as senior players,” Jurgen Klopp told BBC Sport.

“Adam Lallana – a very good match, hard to believe. Joe Gomez – set the defense for perhaps the first time in his life,” he continued.

Jones also received special praise from Klopp. Nothing makes you happier than the feeling of the original Merseyside player who scored in a derby.

“A sensational match and a sensational goal from a Scouser – what else can you get better?” Klopp added.

“You can’t perform like children do if you think you shouldn’t perform well on that team.”

“They all think so. I am very happy they all performed well tonight. The only thing I did not want was a draw. We had to take risks and it paid off,” concluded the German manager.
