Gary Lineker Said Tottenham would have difficulty finding a replacement for Pochettino

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Legendary English striker Gary Lineker highlights the dismissal of Mauricio Pochettino by Tottenham Hotspur management. He considers Tottenham too reckless to make the decision to stop Pochettino from his position as manager. Lineker also considered finding a replacement as good as Pochettino would be difficult for the club’s president, Daniel Levy.

Mauricio Pochettino experienced dismissal on Wednesday (11/20/2019) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Tottenham Hotspur took the step after the manager held talks with Daniel Levy. Although rumors have been circulating for a long time, the dismissal was still shocking.

Gary Lineker is one of the skeptics. He considered the management steps of The Lilywhites really bad. In addition to doubting the figure who will come as a substitute, he also considers the move does not respect the achievements of the manager since 2014-15.

“Mauricio Pochettino has been fired by Tottenham Hotspur. He has helped the club go up in years. Good luck with finding a better replacement … (That) Will not happen,” said Gary Lineker as quoted from a Twitter account.

Finding a better replacement or commensurate with the Argentinian man will not be easy. Although unable to give a trophy, he has a pretty flashy record. The former Southampton manager, among others, recorded the most victories, led Spurs through the 4 major Premier League in the last four seasons, and brought Harry Kane et al. to the Champions League final.

At present, the rumored figure will be Mauricio Pochettino’s successor is Jose Mourinho. Some sources even say, Daniel Levy will soon negotiate with the former Manchester United manager.
