Genoa President: Giuseppe Marotta Already Has A New Club

DBasia.news – Italian famous media, Corriere dello Sport made a surprising report. They believed that Antonio Conte and Giuseppe Marotta will reunite in Premier League giant team: Manchester United.

As we know, the collaboration between Conte as the coach and Marotta as the general director has successfully revived Juventus FC after the Calciopoli scandal.

It’s believed that Marotta will take over Ed Woodward’s position as the sporting director of Manchester United. Also, it’s no longer a secret that Jose Mourinho’s position is no longer save in The Red Devils.

Hence, Manchester United management will choose Conte as the coach if the recruitment happens.

Despite the truth, Genoa President Enrico Preziosi claimed Marotta has talked to him that he already has a destination after resigning from Juventus. Preziosi also emphasized that Marotta will still involve in the football world.

“He told me that he already had another club,” he said from the offices of Lega Calcio on Monday.

“I guess that’ll be his destiny. He’s finished his cycle and now he needs new stimuli, but certainly not as a commissioner or President of the FIGC,” Preziosi added.

Marotta was once rumored as FIGC President’s candidate. Preziosi’s statement also strengthens the issue of reunification of Conte and Marotta in Manchester United.
