Gerrard Becomes Liverpool’s Coach Candidate, Carragher opens up on the matter
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Liverpool player, Jamie Carragher gave a response to his former team mate, Steven Gerrard who was rumored to become a candidate for the Reds manager.
Carragher had asked Gerrard to focus on the Rangers and win the title this season. In addition, the former Liverpool captain needs more experience as a manager as he will bear a heavy burden.
“It looks like he will win the title this season. Do I want Steven Gerrard to become Liverpool’s manager without more experience? Maybe not. Because I only think when you get a big job and you don’t get that experience,” Caraggher said as quoted by the Mirror.
In addition, Gerrard must reflect on one of the top players in his era who is currently a manager, Frank Lampard. The former Chelsea player is struggling to revive his team from adversity. He is even listed as the manager with the third worst win rate in the Roman Abramovic era.
“I really admire Frank Lampard for the work he did last year and what is happening now, I like the interview after the game. However, it’s non-existent now,” he concluded.
