Girona Striker Speaks Up Amid Barcelona Interest
By news-admin
Cristhian Stuani
DBasia.news – Christian Stuani is one of FC Barcelona targets this winter. He is wanted to replace Munir El Haddadi who joined Sevilla.
Barca’s search of the striker is not easy. The player must agree to be the option for Luis Suarez that must be the starter in Blaugrana front line.
Stuani has 15 million euro buyout clause in Girona – relatively affordable for Barcelona. It’s easy to sign him. But, Stuani would face a contrary situation if he joins Barcelona.
The former Middlesbrough player is always the starter of Girona. He won’t get that privilege if he joins Barcelona even though Stuani has the close goalscoring achievement to Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Stuani scored 12 goals for Girona, Messi 17 goals, and Suarez 14 goals. He just said briefly about the departure possibility. “I can’t say anything,” Stuani told Goal.
Barca coach Ernesto Valverde said that he wants a new striker to replace Munir this January. If there’s no new striker, Valverde would sign the striker from Barcelona B.
