Goal Feast Happens in the Big 16 of the Coppa Italia and Here is the Complete Results of the Match

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The Round of 16 Coppa Italia was bombarded with goalscoring parties from Inter Milan and Lazio in the match which took place on Wednesday (1/15). Both teams are indeed in their best game in terms of performance in Serie A.

Starting from the match between Lazio against a team from Serie B, Cremonese, at the Stadio Olimpico. The landing team Simone Inzaghi maintained momentum with a 4-0 victory from goals created by Patric (10 ‘), Marco Parolo (26’), Ciro Immobile penalty (58 ‘), and Bartolomeu Jacinto Quissanga (89’).

Inzaghi was quite serious looking at the Coppa Italia. Despite rotating his squad, Inzaghi continued to play reliable players such as Immobile, Danilo Cataldi, Marco Paroles, Luis Felipe, and Francesco Acerbi.

Playing with 3-5-2 tactics, Lazio has 64 percent possession with 21 attempted kicks and nine on target. While Cremonese only released three kicks on target from 16 kick attempts.

Switch to Giusseppe Meazza. Inter Milan beat fellow Serie A team Cagliari 4-1 from two goals by Romelu Lukaku (1′ and 49′), Borja Valero (22′), and Andrea Ranocchia (80′), who were reduced by Christian Oliva’s goals in 72 minutes.

Despite rotating his squad, Antonio Conte did not have many choices because the depth of Inter’s squad was not good. Ranocchia, Valero, and Federico Dimarco do play (all three rarely play), but players like Marcelo Brozovic, Diego Godin, Milan Skriniar, Lukaku, and Samir Handanovic also continue to play.

Other positive news Alexis Sanchez has recovered from injury. Sanchez duet with Lukaku and the second duet had happened at Manchester United. Sanchez could be an option to rotate Lukaku or Lautaro Martinez.

While one other match that took place Tuesday (14/01) early morning Western Indonesian Time ended for Napoli’s 2-0 victory over Perugia at San Paolo. Two goals in the match were scored by Lorenzo Insigne from the spot in minutes 26 and 38.

There are still three other matches which will take place in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia, the following matches are:
