DBasia.news – The presence of star players, Frenkie de Jong and Antoine Griezmann has made Barcelona coach, Ernesto Valverde, happy. Even so, he still asked the two expensive players to quickly adapt.
The arrival of the midfielder and striker further adds color to Barcelona’s game. But at the same time, the pressure and expectations for the coach are also getting higher.
“They are important players and we hope to get many things from their presence,” Valverde said.
“I know they make tremendous excitement in the minds of our fans, but our goal is that they can go directly into the team scheme. I hope they don’t take long to show their best performance, “he continued.
Regarding playing experience, the former Athletic Bilbao coach admitted that Griezmann was more tested than De Jong. However, he still had high hopes for the young Dutch midfielder.
“Griezmann is a more established player than De Jong. He has experience in LaLiga. “He’s the type of player who fills space quickly and determines the match,” Valverde exclaimed.
